2018-2019 SFL Round 10 wrap-up
Round 10 has come and gone and it perhaps confirmed a few of our thoughts from Round 9. Cockburn EWA, lost their incredible 15 match win streak in Round 9 to Stirling Braza Ginga, and were unable to score, nevermind make amends against Rockingham Cambio Cumbre in Round 10. For now It is back to the drawing board for the defending Champions who have lost top spot for now courtesy of La Cumbre’s 4-0 victory over them.
Stirling Braza took full advantage of Cockburn’s slip and courtesy of a 5-1 hammering over South Perth to head to the top of the Pro Futsal WA State Futsal League.
The Joondalup ECU Jets confirmed Fremantles poor fun of recent form with a 1-1 draw that will give them some measure of confidence coming into their up and coming clash with Perth AFC, who dispatched former Championship rivals Longobarda 7-4 to make it 4 games undefeated for the SFL newcomers.
Balga FC once again threw everything but the kitchen sink at the Murdoch Warriors and despite a gutsy 5th man play at the tail end of the match that could seen them go home empty handed. In the end a 3-3 draw seemed fair.
Curtin Footbalista put on a clinic against a woeful Spearwood Lions, who barely meowed in an 11-2 drubbing, the biggest winning margin of the season so far.
Round 11 kicks off from 7.50pm this Friday night at the Pro Futsal Centre, 25 -27 Port Pirie Street in Bibra Lake.
