2018-2019 SFL Round 1 wrap-up
The Pro Futsal WA State Futsal League got underway last weekend with the much improved 12 team competition highlighting futsals expansion in Western Australia.
With live streaming of 3 of the 6 games, viewer interaction has never been better and there will be more action than ever, with a massive 33 round season ahead.
Last seasons Champions Cockburn EWA easily accounted for the Spearwood Lions 10-3, while former Championship finalists ECU Jets shot down new boys Balga FC 4-1 in their first taste of SFL Action. South Perth shared the points with a 3 goal comeback against Curtin Footballista as Rockingham Cambio Cumbre and South Perth also split the points 3-3. Longobarda, with a new and improved snail logo booked 3 points with a 4-1 win over the Murdoch Warriors while Perth AFC pulled surprise of the round with a 5-5 draw against Stirling FC.
